Required Documents:

Original Passport: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Türkiye and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it

Biometric Photos: 2 biometric photos with a white background that were taken within the last 6 months, depicting the full face clearly and completely visible without shadow and without spects, in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.

Kenyan ID and its copy: Provide your original identification card and a copy

Certificate of Good Conduct: Updated, valid for a minimum of 6 months as of the application date.

Acceptance Letter: Official letter of acceptance or approval from the Learning institution in Turkiye and kindly ask your university to send an email to the Turkish Embassy  in Kenya.

School Documents: Education History (certificates from Primary school to your final school level should be certified by the Ministry of Foreign affairs)

Employment Letter (For Sponsor): Original Leave letter from the company on company letterhead stating applicant’s designation, period of work, salary, purpose of visit and duration of travel with travel dates accompanying persons if any with signature, seal and stamp.

If Employer/Proprietor/Partner/Director (For Sponsor): Company registration documents in which applicant`s sponsor and company name should be mentioned.

Monetary Documents (For Sponsor):

– Last 3 months’ salary slips with letterhead, signature, seal/stamp

– Last 6 months’ personal bank statement up to date (original or copies attested by bank): Bank balance must have a substantial amount that would cover the expenses during their stay. For a Business or Company statement add a signatory letter from the bank showing full names of signatories.

– Proof of Asset Ownership (Land, vehicle, house or lease agreements)

– If Retired: Retirement documents & income proof (original or copies attested) along with last 3 months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank): Bank balance must have a substantial amount that would cover the expenses during their stay.

– If Self-Employed: Contract documents & leave/cover letter as applicable, proof of regular income along with last 6 months’ personal bank statement (original or copies attested by bank): Bank balance must have a substantial amount that would cover the expenses during their stay.

Flight Tickets: Round trip flight reservation. (Embassy might ask for confirmed tickets before issuing visa.)

Hotel Reservation: If booked through agents / tour operator then details of applicants name, check-in & checkout dates on letterhead with seal, signature, name & designation to be mentioned.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance policy will be provided at the time of submission in Türkiye Visa Application Centers.

Proof of civil status: Marriage Certificate, Birth Certificate (optional).

If the sponsorship is a nuclear family member, kindly attach marriage certificate / birth certificate M.F.A

Original Previous Passport/s: (optional).

Additional Documents: Tour itinerary (optional).

Further, the insurance service required is provided with advantageous prices in our office.

 Remarks

Minors need notarized consent letter (affidavit) drafted by a lawyer notarized with a red seal, signed by both parents if not travelling with both of the parents. Parents passport original and photocopy needs to be attached with minors application. If only one parent is the legal guardian of the minor because of death/divorce, a notarized death certificate or notarized court decision of divorce mentioning the legal guardian is required.

If an applicant is traveling with a family member/friend who has a sticker visa/E-Visa for Türkiye, applicant is requested to provide a copy of the sticker visa/E-Visa along with co-travelers passport copies.

The passport holders of the countries other than Kenya can apply for Turkish visa at Turkish Embassy in Nairobi if only they hold a valid residence in Kenya. In this case, visa evaluation process may take a longer period than Kenyan passport holders

If travelling together and spouse’s name is not shown in passport. Marriage Certificate of the Couple issued by the marriage registrar attested by Notary Public.

Monetary documents can be submitted by sponsor with original sponsorship letter if applicant does not have the required financial means. Only the sponsorships of nuclear family is accepted. Relationship proof status should be submitted.

All letters are required in typed format not written. All company letters should be with letterhead, seal/stamped, signed by an authorized person whose name, designation and contact information is clearly mentioned.

The Embassy has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Embassy reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances.

Holders of Turkish visa are kindly requested to check their visa including the “duration of stay” and “period of validity” before their travel to Türkiye.
